ESL teacher leadership serves as a mechanism for ensuring that the language learning needs of ELs are met in every classroom throughout the school day. COVID-19 highlighted the importance of ESL teacher leaders in schools in ways that could not have been predicted. This panel will present how English Learners in the Mainstream (ELM) coaches supported their general education colleagues to best serve ELs during a time of global crisis.
