This session provides an overview of processes and systems that EL/MLL program coordinators in preK-12 districts and charter schools in Minnesota will need to develop and put into place as they develop a comprehensive instruction and support program for multilingual learners. Topics include language access, student enrollment, English language proficiency screening, annual ELP testing, language programming, coordination and collaboration with other staff, family engagement and frequently asked questions.
